How to obtain your Backyard Wildlife Habitat Certificate!
Whatever Australian State you live in, it’s quite simple to get your Backyard Wildlife Habitat Certificate for your native garden, balcony, patio, or rooftop garden.
The essential criteria is that you must provide water, some native food plants, shelter and a haven for nesting. There are suggestions on the other website pages how to accomplish this.
You can write us a short letter telling us about your garden. Send a photo or two if you wish, and the $16 Au Registration fee. We will post your Backyard Wildlife Habitat Certificate to you in the next day's mail.
Alternatively you can email us through the contact box below, with information about your backyard native garden, balcony, or rooftop garden, and pay the $16 Registration fee through the Paypal link, also below. Doesn't matter which one you do first as long as you do both. :o)
Pay for your Backyard/Balcony/Patio/Rooftop Garden Wildlife Habitat Certificate here with Paypal...$16Au.
If you have a digital camera, we'd love to see an emailed photo of your native garden too. If not, dont worry.
We also have a small, longlasting metal sign for sale, to attach to your letterbox, certifying that your backyard, balcony, patio, or rooftop garden is a registered Wildlife Habitat accredited by the Wildlife Protection Association of Australia Inc.
Now you really can do your bit for wildlife, and be recognised for doing so.

About our Registry.
The Australian Backyard Wildlife Habitat Registry is just a list of those who purchase a Certificate certifying that their backyard/balcolony is a Certified Wildlife Habitat. The list is totally private and confidential, is never released to anyone, and just allows us to determine how many certified habitats there are in Australia. Nor will we hastle you with emails. Promise!
If you would like to be kept up-to-date on wildlife issues, subscribe to Wildlife Bytes on the lefthand side of the Home page. We also produce a native plant newsletter called Aussie Plants. You can subscribe to that as well if you wish.
